Great fresh made food. Delicious hotdogs. I'm not a big hotdog fan but this one was very good. The crispy onion straws are made fresh to order. I believe the buns are made fresh on site. Very messy but good. We will be back 😁
If I could put a 0 for service I would and the cheese curds are not spicy nor good, they were bland and hard. The tall guy at front counter made me get up to get my drinks that were 2 foot away instead of bringing them to me, then proceeded to bring my food out and put it at the other end of the front counter where I wasn’t even standing when he could’ve easily walked around and handed it to me very disrespectful you can tell these are not real men and our childish. Was on the train across the street today and drove up a hour and had already planned on eating her but after this never again. Hoped you liked coming to fetch my tray since I did my own food and drinks!
After a long winter break, Diamond Dawgz is OPEN ... and with a new expanded menu including burgers!! Glad to see them back. It's one of my favorite lunchtime stops.
Very nice staff, the food was delicious! The pickle fries were enough to feed two people. The variety was great, we would definitely eat here again. The only thing I would like is to maybe have some music playing in the background. The facility was VERY clean and well maintained.
Visiting the weekend in nelsonville ohio. Stop that diamond dog to check out some amazing gourmet doggs. If you're a fan of delicious gourmet doggs. Then this is a dope little stop here. From starting the right of the picture. The first dog on the right was called the LA danger. The one in the middle is the Clevelander. And a must amazing pepper jack cheese curd. And the hot dog joints is based on 50's dinner. Can't wait to check out the jukebox when it gets inside.
Stopped here on my way to the Nelsonville Music Festival. The food was very good and fairly priced for the quality. I got the Jersey Ripper. The coney sauce was on point. Loved the onion straws as opposed to rings. The 2 student employees were a little lack lustre and into their phones but the place was empty except for me so to be expected in today's world. The restaurant itself is nice but it's in a shared building and there's no lighting going back to the restrooms. Put some lighting in the hallway so people feel safer. I'll be back.
When we walked in, my first impression was, "Wow, this is a nice place." But then I noticed the prices, and they were outrageous. Just a hot dog and a bun cost $5.00, with prices going up from there. If you're looking for a good deal on a hot dog, I’d recommend you keep driving.
“The Jersey Ripper” may very well be the best hot dog I have ever had. The ice cream is excellent and the restaurant is clean. So glad this place is in Nelsonville. You should definitely check it out.
